Alumna Lauren Petito ’06 is honored to return to Poly Prep as a Nursery Associate Teacher. She was a personal injury litigation paralegal for eight years and decided to pursue a career change in 2019. She completed her master’s in early childhood education at Touro College in spring of 2020 and is certified by New York State to teach from birth to Grade 2, for both early childhood education and students with disabilities. As she worked toward earning her degree, Lauren was a sub-paraprofessional for the Department of Education and completed her student teaching hours at P.S. 102. She has also worked as head camp counselor at Poly Prep’s summer program.
