Tynesha Wright-Lindo joined Poly Prep as the Middle School Counselor in 2022. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she earned her BA in American Studies from Dickinson College, her Master of Divinity from Princeton University and her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. She is a clinical social worker who most recently supported college students on their mental health journeys at both Cornell and Rutgers University. Before that, she worked at a counseling center for families and children where she supported and guided families through a recent hardship or transition. Tynesha is passionate about regularly honoring a client’s life experience and unique strengths, and is especially familiar with presenting concerns about identity, family, relationships, and trauma. When she’s not in session, you can find her and her husband with their two children at a local park or singing and dancing to a Disney soundtrack, or hip-hop and R&B.
